For over 20 years, MaxEmil has been at the forefront of optical system design, analysis and innovations. With continual investments and improvements, MaxEmil keeps pace with optical industry demands. Diamond Truning
Single Point Diamond Turning (SPDT) technologies can produce superior optical surface finishes and consistent performance in plastic, metals and IR materials. We are vertically integrated in house with Optical and Mechanical Engineering, Ni Plating, SPDT, Optical Molding, Metrology and Testing.
CNC Tooling
Utilizing the latest CAD and solid model software, MaxEmil's talented design team develops custom tooling for customer's manufacturing program. Integrating the latest flow simulation design software allows us to reduce the lead time and cost which provide to better productivity and cost effective for our customers.
MaxEmil has CNC milling machines, Die sinking EDM, wire EDM, Jig Borer, Jig Grinder, Surface grinder, and diamond turning lathe in house. With using the most advanced precise machines and the experienced machining knowledge, we deliver the highest precision quality products in the market.
Injection Molding
MAXEMIL is specializing in high performance and precision molding requiring critical tolerances and exacting specifications.
As a precise plastic injection molder, MaxEmil has expertise in processing optical grade plastics. We use all-electric injection press machines. Our machine's range in tonnage is from 30 to 200 tons. Each of our molding machines is set to control within close tolerances to ensure repeatability and consistent quality throughout production.
Thin Film Coating
MaxEmil’s multilayer interference coatings cover the entire spectrum of product that needed from the higher performing scientific instruments to the commercial optics applications. Also, filter designs are available on a variety of spectrum transmitting substrates.

Metrology
The in-house capabilities of high precision optical components and tooling manufacturing allow us to deliver variety of specialized optics and mechanics. Moreover, the verification of system performance is also an important procedure to a successful product. Consequently, the building of testing technologies and quality assurance system is a way to assure the successes of our customers. MAXEMIL owns cutting-edge optical testing instruments and testing technologies. We have Zeiss CMM, Zygo Interferomenter, Taylor Hobson and TriOptics MTFtesters in house for high pricision products requirements. Besides, we are ISO 9001 certificated company since 2003.
Contract Manufacturing
MAXEMIL has built technologies for system integration and assembly. The integration technologies are used to efficiently assemble the high precision optical, mechanical and electronic components. MaxEmil assembles and tests all types of opto-mechanical and electronic sub-assemblies with challenging specifications and cost.

Founded in 1996, MAXEMIL Photonics started as an optical design consulting company to offer optical system designs and consulting services to the industry. In order to service our customer from design to manufacturing, we started a factory to produce polymer optics in 2000.
We are proud of assisting our customers in developing novel and state-of-the-art solutions to meet the challenges in the design and manufacturing of optical products. Also. it is our pleasure to establish partnerships with our customers and work with them on each stage of idea, engineering, prototyping, tooling, trial runs, and mass production.
